SpaceX reported $2.8 billion of operating income for the third quarter, with Starlink revenue up 69% and its AI computing unit up about ninefold.

Starlink revenue rose 69% to $5.2 billion, and its operating income doubled to $2.4 billion. The Super Intelligence segment, built from xAI, grew revenue about ninefold to $7.6 billion on computing-capacity deals with AI developers and wider use of its Grok model 1.

Spending remains heavy: capital expenditure was $19.6 billion in the quarter, more than its revenue, and SpaceX has turned to debt to buy chips. Its shares were about 38% below their June peak in early November 1.
